With over twenty years experience leading the in-house education departments of both Professional brands (ORLY, IBD, EZ FLOW, NAILTIQUES) and Retail brands (NAILS INC); Laura is regarded as the go-to guru for nail skills training and new product testing. Every year, thousands of nail technicians continue to benefit from Laura's detailed understanding and dedication; from college students picking up their tools for the first time, to experienced professionals at luxury hotel and spa locations worldwide.
On television, Laura has represented ORLY on numerous occasions; demonstrating products and explaining consumer best practice. Laura writes a monthly column for Scratch Magazine and is regularly quoted in the national press on all matters relating to nails. Since 2010 Laura has been on the judging panel for the Professional Beauty Awards "Nail Professional of the Year" and "Nail Salon of the Year" categories. Since 2011 Laura has formed part of the judging panel for Scratch Magazine's Star Awards, the only awards dedicated to the UK nail industry. Laura is a founding member of the HABIA Advisory Committee, the UK body responsible for agreeing and setting standards for the Register of Nail Professionals. Laura undertakes celebrity nail and photoshoot sessions, as well as leading nail teams at London Fashion Week every year.
